Temporary Lockup and Fish Row

Cells on the second tier, which are protected with the wire mesh, were used to house incoming inmates in order to keep them separated from the rest of the inmates until they became adjusted to prison life. It was also used to administratively segregate inmates who needed protection from other inmates.
