DEER LODGE, MONTANA is home to more museums and historical collections than any other town in the Northwest. There are 22 acres of history and nostalgia to captivate young and old alike. The Old Montana Prison including The Frontier Museum along with Desert John's Saloon Museum and the Powell County Museum will transport you back to the era of cowboys and the Old West. The Montana Auto Museum with over 120 vintage vehicles, and Yesterday's Playthings—Montana's foremost doll and toy museum, will entertain "children" of all ages. Cottonwood City displays the Snowshoe Creek School and the Blood Cabin.

Whether your interest is in the famous or infamous, gun fighting or ranching, adult toys or children's playthings, the museums of Deer Lodge will capture your imagination.
