Within the Old Montana Prison Museums Complex is a number of special exhibits:
Visitors Center and Gift Shop - Information, gift shop, restrooms, vending machines, wheelchairs.
Desert John’s Saloon – Located inside Frontier Montana Museum – Genuine saloon bar, whiskey memorabilia, bottles, jugs, saloon bar advertisements.
Cottonwood City – Located between Frontier Montana and the Powell County Museum – Schoolhouse, church, jail, blacksmith, brothel, cemetery, log cabin, Post Office, gazebo
Milwaukee Road – E-70 ‘Little Joe’ engine, E-9 # 36A engine, Milwaukee Road Side Bay Window Caboose, Last Spike memorial, other railroad artifacts.
