Employment Application Notice

All employment with the Powell County Museum & Arts Foundation (hereinafter referred as to The Foundation), unless otherwise covered by a specific contract/working agreement, is on an 'At-Will' basis, i.e., the employee has, reserves, and retains the right to terminate his/her employment (quit) at any time with or without cause, or explanation.

The Foundation, in like manner, also reserves and retains similar and equal rights to terminate a person's employment with The Foundation with or without cause, notice, or explanation. The Foundation, in like manner, also reserves and retains the right to change any employees' hours of work, days or shifts to work, assign overtime when necessary, and/or assign types of work which The Foundation determines the employee has both the ability and the capability to perform. Refusal to abide by The Foundation's assignment(s) makes the employee subject to immediate termination of his/her continued employment with The Foundation.

All applicants must complete both the Employment Application and the attached Federal I-9 Form which verifies the applicant's legal right to work in the United States, and must, upon request, or within 24-hours thereafter, submit for copying any two of the identity documents noted on the I-9 Form. Failure to provide those documents within that prescribed time limit will void the application and any further consideration for employment. All employment applicants are subject to background checks and may be asked to submit further personal information to meet the requirement.

(For persons perhaps considering future employment with The Foundation, The Foundation would appreciate a minimum of one week notice before quitting (two weeks are recommended), to prevent manpower scheduling problems).

By my signature below, I indicate that i have read the notice, or had it explained to me, and I understand it completely, and I agree to the employment conditions.

I further understand that by reading and signing this notice, or by completing the Employment Application form and the I-9 Form, that I am neither promised nor guaranteed employment with The Foundation.
