  • Jerry Miles was a joint-wise convict who learned the art of mutiny in Alcatraz and other prisons.

Lee Smart was a teenage accomplice who had dreams of the free road, but her was an impulsive murderer.

Despite what he preached about rioting over condition, Myles didn't believe his own words. He couldn't train he thinking on a single plan becasue his anger toward Warden Floyd Powell and his deputy, Ted Rothe tore at him with sharp monster claws. He knew only that he wanted trouble. They would remember Jerry Myles for what would happen on this day. He was certain of that.
