The Peace Officer Memorial, located in the historic 1912 Cellhouse at the Old Montana Prison, serves as a powerful and solemn tribute to the law enforcement officers who gave their lives in the line of duty. Every year on May 15th, we honor those who have made this sacrifice, and we welcome everyone to come to the memorial event inside the Old Prison Yard at high noon. The Old Montana Prison Yard came alive with laughter, excitement, and the joyful spirit of the season. The Easter Egg Hunt was hosted by the Deer Lodge Elk's Club, which put on a very successful event.
